Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

I’m very disappointed with my experience at this dental office. I have been a patient here for about four years, and I no longer feel like my care was handled with my best interest in mind. About 2–3 months ago, I was told I needed a root canal. At the time, I explained that I could not afford it, and no payment plan or temporary solution was offered to help protect the tooth in the meantime. Recently, the same tooth chipped, so I went back in hoping for guidance and some type of temporary treatment until I could afford the full procedure. At that visit, I was again told I needed a root canal and crown and that there was β€œnothing they could do.” Only after I specifically asked about a temporary filling was I told that it was actually an option. That was extremely frustrating, because if that had been discussed earlier, it may have helped protect the tooth while I tried to save up for treatment. In my experience, this office has repeatedly pushed the most expensive option without clearly discussing more affordable temporary alternatives. I understand that a root canal may have been necessary, but I do not understand why supportive interim care was not offered from the beginning w

Dr. Manisha, Bina& Maria and their staff do an excellent job. Bina is a magician the way she cleans and treat the teeth & gums and Dr. Manisha’s skills as an oral surgeon is just amazing. I have been going to their clinic since 2009 and have done a good job of preventive oral care no cavity no issues. Very grateful to them. They treat me & my wife with utmost care and we look forward to every visit. Great professional people. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
